Customer Support and Project Engineer - based in New York
We currently have a vacancy for a Project/Customer Support Engineer to work out of the US subsidiary company, Pebble Broadcast Systems, based in New York.
Pebble Beach Systems is one of the leading providers of broadcast automation, media management and channel-in-a-box technology and has grown steadily since the company was founded in 2000. Our customer base extends around the globe with systems installed throughout Europe, The Middle East, the Americas, the Far East and Australia. Our main offices are based in Weybridge, Surrey with regional offices in Dubai.
Candidates should hold a high class degree in Broadcast Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related subject and should be able to demonstrate a desire to provide outstanding customer support. An ability to work on your own initiative and to apply your problem-solving skills to a range of new challenges is essential. Knowledge of Broadcast Technology, Networking and SQL Databases is an advantage and, while the role doesn't involve any direct requirement to write software or program, an understanding of software development principles is expected.
The successful candidate would be required to support our customers throughout the US both with initial system configuration during new installations and day to day operational issues, therefore the role requires the ability to travel around the US, occasionally at short notice.
This is a customer facing role with the need communicate both at different technical levels with customers therefore interpersonal skills are an important part of the role. Applicants must already have permanent residency status in the US.

The selection process will involve pre-filtering CVs of prospective candidates, inviting some of those to complete an online test that we have created and then those that pass the online test will be invited for an interview.
