For us it’s all about interoperability. We decided to put the initial focus on the new but already established open standards available in the market. Therefore, the initial release of Pebble Control is designed to work with devices that support the NMOS specifications: IS-04 v1.2 or v1.3 and IS-05 v1.0 or v1.1. Theoretically, it should work with any well-behaved device, but we would do thorough testing when adding new (unknown) devices to the system. A useful tool there is also AMWA’s NMOS Test Suite which can test if a device responds correctly to various queries and commands.
