Pebble is led by a talented team of highly experienced, dedicated individuals with many years of experience in the specialist fields of broadcast automation, project management and mission-critical software design.

Peter Mayhead

Chief Executive Officer

Previously, Peter served as Chief Finance Officer of Pro-Bel Ltd where his strong financial skills and management ability played a key role in the management turning the business around and ultimately merging with Snell & Wilcox. During this time his passion for empowered leadership first began to develop. He has enhanced this through formal education, consultancy work, and interim change management roles. A firm believer in the need for technology providers to develop a mind-set of employee empowerment, organisational alignment, and personal development, Peter has an approach of building on the strengths of each individual to enhance the overall competitiveness, flexibility, and capability of the organisation. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, trying to keep healthy, and playing golf very badly.

David Dewhurst

Chief Finance Officer

David joined Pebble Beach Systems PLC in 2020. He has over 14 years’ experience as a CFO for companies listed on the AIM (Alternative Investment Market), and previously worked with a digital marketing group, where he helped to grow revenue both by organic growth and acquisition, supporting its international expansion in Europe, Asia and North America. He also has experience in the IT consulting and creative events sectors.



Outside of work, he likes to keep himself fit by cycling, playing football and occasionally walking around a golf course, and unfit by watching cricket.

Miroslav Jeras

Chief Technology Officer

Having been in the industry for 20 years, Miroslav joined Pebble in 2017 as the Senior Technical Architect for Dolphin and Orca. He subsequently took on the role of Head of Software Architecture, and now, as CTO, he has responsibility for setting the development roadmap and inputting into the strategic direction of Pebble as the company seeks to support broadcasters and media companies in their transition to IP-based technologies.



Miroslav is an active participant in technology working groups focussed on the development of new standards, including AMWA, where he has most recently been closely involved in the development of the IS-07 standard and currently chairs the NMOS modelling activity which aims to ensure immediate operability of installed IP devices. He joined Pebble from Broadstream (formerly ON-AIR Systems / OASYS) where he held the position of SVP Research and Development and was responsible for the entire playout application. A dedicated, focussed and driven technologist, Miroslav is committed to nurturing the next generation of developers, and his passion for the industry, along with his enthusiasm for collaborating with other vendors, deliver huge benefits as the company works on the solutions of the future.

Yucel Timur

Director of Operations

Yucel joined Pebble in 2019 and leads a large team of pre-sales engineers, solutions architects, software developers and customer support professionals who design, deliver and support Pebble’s solutions.



An experienced industry professional with over two decades of project management expertise in the media and technology sector, he previously held senior positions at Sony Professional Solutions Europe and NOWTV (Part of Sky UK), and led key technology initiatives at the BBC. His experience in delivering and implementing leading-edge solutions has given him valuable insight into how best to deliver complex software and IT based projects into broadcast customers. With that comes an appreciation of how these are used in real life, and of course an awareness of the benefits to the end user. A driven, people-focused problem solver, Yucel is passionate about the power of a strong, empowered, motivated team to generate great results for all stakeholders.

Alison Pavitt

Director of Sales and Marketing

Alison has overall responsibility for the company’s global sales and marketing function and is a long standing figure in the industry. She is a board member of the IABM, and sits on the Exhibitor Committee of IBC.



Alison first joined the industry in a sales role with broadcast graphics specialists Aston, where she grew a network of international resellers whilst also being hands-on with product demonstrations, and operator and reseller training. She joined Pebble in 2009 and as Pebble’s Marketing Manager she played a key role in the evolution of Pebble Beach Systems PLC’s marketing, as well as overseeing a rebrand and being closely involved in company-wide initiatives to establish brand values and ensure focus on the customer journey. She has a deep-seated belief in the power of positive communication, a strong brand, exceptional solutions, and a great team to generate outstanding results.  Outside work Alison enjoys hiking, skiing and camping, although rarely all at the same time!

Justyna Munnich

Head of Finance

Justyna joined the company in 2018 from Walgreen Boots Alliance where she spent almost 6 years in senior finance roles. She leverages this corporate experience, along with her focus on the importance of controls and systems, and her ability to engage with stakeholders across departments, in her role as head of the finance and legal team at Pebble.



Justyna is ACCA certified, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Corporate, Financed and Securities Law, and a Masters in Economic Policy and Corporate Strategy. Her positive, can-do attitude and boundless energy and enthusiasm, combined with her consistent attention to detail and accuracy, make her a valuable asset to the Pebble organisation as it seeks to transform and grow. Justyna is the mother of two young children, and in her spare time she loves to socialise, and is generally one of the first up on the dance floor!

Mat Shell

Head of Sales

Mat has been in the broadcast industry for all of his career, and he brings deep technical knowledge, tenacious problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic, results-focussed approach to this role supporting and guiding Pebble’s experienced international sales and sales support team in a time of rapid technological and business evolution.



A popular and experienced figure in the industry, Mat joined the company in 2014 as Solutions and Proposals Manager, having previously held product marketing and business development roles at vendors including Imagine Communications, Grass Valley and Tektronix. His extensive experience, coupled with his solution-focused attitude make him a tremendous asset to the Pebble team, and his commitment to developing excellent solutions and his thorough understanding of the industry will further enhance the company’s ability to meet customer requirements at this pivotal time.

Hannah Goldsmith

HR Manager

Hannah has been with Pebble since 2010, initially joining in an administrative role where she gained broad experience in all aspects of the company’s commercial operations. She took on responsibility for Human Resources 2014 and her role now encompasses all aspects of recruitment, staff welfare and engagement, training and payroll. She is studying for a Certificate in HR from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.



As Pebble transforms, Hannah is highly focussed on the organisational design of the company, and on ensuring each individual’s career journey, from on-boarding to promotion, is rewarding and meaningful. A champion of personal development, she has an ‘Every Pebble Matters’ attitude, and on empowered Pebble employees being able to contribute to and share in the company’s success. Outside work, Hannah’s young family, rescue dog, and running take up most of her free time, but she loves to socialise with friends and appreciates a well-mixed G and T!
