With solutions controlling more than 400 channels across 17 countries at around 70 sites in the region, Pebble is looking forward to reconnecting with customers and showcasing their latest solution; Pebble Control.
Weybridge, Surrey, UK , 19th October 2021: Pebble, the leading automation, content management, and integrated channel specialist, is delighted to confirm their presence at CABSAT. They will be in Hall 2, Stand G2-23, as part of the UK Group co-ordinated by Tradefair on behalf of techUK.
The company will showcase Pebble Control, an innovative new solution designed to make IP connectivity as simple as SDI. Pebble Control is a new self-contained scalable, IP-native, connection management solution that is easy to configure and operate using web-based UIs. Delivering immediate benefits to even the smallest IP facility, it leverages open standards and interfaces with NMOS-enabled devices, and is easily reconfigurable. Integration with Nevion’s VideoIPath solution enables customers to easily control software-defined networks. At the show Pebble Control will be demonstrated using a Riedel 1200 Series SmartPanel, where visitors will see firsthand, the benefits of IP connection management using this standalone solution.
Benjamin Lampert, Product Manager, Riedel Communications commented, “With our 1200 Series SmartPanels and the Control Panel App, we offer a generic hardware user interface that can seamlessly integrate in a IP-based control environment. We´re happy to support Pebble solutions, which allow customers to realise their individual workflows on our hardware.”
The company will also demonstrate its Pebble Automation solution for enterprise-level automation and powerful multi-channel delivery. This platform delivers robust functionality at a scale that suits any operation, and can flex and adapt as needs change. A powerful centralised ingest, content management and multi-channel solution, it controls mission-critical operations at scores of broadcasters and service providers around the world, and is scalable from one to hundreds of channels. Visitors of the show will also see how Pebble can playout channels in the cloud by running AWS cloud instances.
With several key customers having just upgraded their automation solutions to the latest Pebble technology, Pebble has also recently won a number of contracts for leading broadcasters in the Middle East and have plans to formally announce these at the show.
Samir Isbaih, VP Sales – Middle East & South Asia said of CABSAT, “The events of the last 18 months have obviously meant that we could only engage with our customers digitally. While that has worked well for us, nothing beats meeting new and existing customers face to face, and attending CABSAT this October provides a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with customers and industry peers alike. We will also share how we have implemented one of the first pure IP-native SMPTE ST 2110 NMOS-compliant solutions in the region. As more broadcasters navigate the routes to an all-IP infrastructure, we can demonstrate the efficiency of our system deployment and outline our proven expertise to support successful IP migrations.
We have a highly valued customer base and significant market share in MENA, which is important for us as a business. In attending the show we are underlining our commitment to delivering excellent solutions to this market and we look forward to sharing more on this at CABSAT.”
