Business Transformation was THE hot topic at this season’s round of in-person and virtual events and conferences, and rightly so. Speaker after speaker shared how their media organisation or technology company had to adapt, whilst exploring how to ensure that the best of those adaptations endure beyond the current pandemic. We will always remember what the global pandemic has taught those of us who have the privilege to work in broadcast. We adapted quickly, and there have been many days when we’ve had to turn on a dime, but collectively we found new solutions. And many of those solutions have taken the industry forward and will generate lasting change. We’ve had to think more innovatively than ever before. We’ve changed the way we work, and ‘Remote’ is the new mantra.
