Epsom, Surrey, UK, 12 May 2026: Pebble, the leading automation, content management and integrated channel specialist, is exhibiting at BroadcastAsia 2026 (stand 5J1-9 Singapore Expo, 20-22 May 2026). The show provides an opportunity to meet the team behind some of the most advanced playout deployments in the world, including a recent project with leading Taiwanese broadcaster Videoland.

Delivered in close collaboration with systems integrator Ideal Systems (Taiwan) Media Technology, the project sees Pebble Automation and Integrated Channel technology at the heart of a 10+10 channel ST 2110 primary playout operation, delivering tightly synchronised, high-performance playout across both primary and disaster recovery sites. Advanced graphics workflows combine RT Graphics plugins with Pebble’s HTML5 graphics engine, and Pebble’s Automatic Promotion feature populates dynamic on-air graphics directly from live playlist data – reducing manual intervention and improving on-air accuracy. Secure remote access and monitoring is provided via Pebble Remote.

The deployment is engineered in a triple-redundant configuration across two independent systems, with a geographically separated disaster recovery site ensuring continuous service delivery. This hybrid approach – ST 2110 IP at the primary site, SDI at the recovery site – allows Videoland to embrace next-generation IP infrastructure without compromising the resilience its operations demand.

“Broadcasters across Asia-Pacific are moving toward IP, but they can’t afford to take risks with reliability – that tension is something we understand well. The Videoland project is a great example of how you can do both, and it’s exactly the kind of work we’re looking forward to talking about in Singapore,” said Samir Isbaih, VP Sales, Middle East and APAC, Pebble.

Building on more than 25 years’ experience, Pebble delivers highly tailored solutions at any scale, from a single channel to the largest multi-tenanted facility, across SDI, ST 2110, NDI and hybrid environments. Visitors to the stand will be able to explore Pebble Automation, Pebble Integrated Channel and Pebble Remote – the three core elements of the Pebble platform.

Where AI really fits in broadcast operations

For several years, artificial intelligence has dominated industry conversation. Nearly every new tool, platform or workflow arrived with an AI label attached. As with most technological waves, the early stage was defined as much by expectation as by practical reality. As we move through 2026, that conversation is beginning to settle. AI is transitioning from […]

Why broadcast technology is no longer the hard part

For most of broadcasting’s modern history, progress was defined by technical constraint. Could systems stay on air without interruption? Could devices be synchronised precisely? Could storage, processing and networking cope with growing channel counts? For decades, competitive advantage came from overcoming engineering limitations. If you could make the technology work seamlessly, you were ahead. Today, […]
